Careers at Off Piste Wealth

We're growing, and we're looking for two people to join us on a self-employed basis. You'll work alongside an award-winning independent financial planning practice, with introductions from our existing clients and the freedom to run your own diary. Training is available for both roles.

Why join us

  • Introductions from our existing client base and professional network
  • Self-employed, with a competitive share of the fees and commission on the business you write
  • Hybrid working across Kent and London
  • An established brand, website and compliance framework behind you

Will Writer

Legacy Lines

Legacy Lines is our will writing and estate planning business, and we're looking for someone to grow into leading it. You don't need years in the industry. A law or legal background and a genuine interest in helping families plan ahead matter more, and we'll support you through your training. If you're already an experienced will writer, we'd love to hear from you too.

What you'll do

  • Meet clients, take instructions and draft wills, including mirror wills and wills with trusts
  • Prepare and register Lasting Powers of Attorney
  • Work closely with our financial planners on inheritance tax and estate planning cases
  • Grow into leading the Legacy Lines team as it expands, setting the standard for quality and client care
  • Look after the client journey from first meeting through to signing and storage

What we're looking for

  • A law degree, legal qualification or experience in a legal setting, such as a paralegal or legal assistant role
  • Willing to complete will writing training and work towards membership of the Society of Will Writers or the Institute of Professional Willwriters
  • Clear writing, close attention to detail and a warm manner with clients
  • Will writing experience is welcome but not essential
  • Already self-employed, or happy to become self-employed

Mortgage Adviser

Off Piste Wealth

We want to offer our clients mortgage advice under the same roof as their financial planning. You'll advise on residential, remortgage and buy to let cases, many of them introduced by our planners.

What you'll do

  • Advise clients on purchases, remortgages and buy to let
  • Advise on related protection where it's suitable
  • Work closely with our financial planners so mortgage advice fits each client's wider plan
  • Build your own client bank alongside the introductions we pass to you

What we're looking for

  • CeMAP or an equivalent qualification is ideal. If you're not yet qualified, you'll complete your training and exams through New Leaf Distribution
  • Mortgage or financial services experience is helpful but not essential
  • Able to meet the FCA's fit and proper requirements. You'll advise under the regulatory permissions of our principal firm, New Leaf Distribution Ltd, subject to their approval and competence assessment
  • Already self-employed, or happy to become self-employed
